Dynamic four piece, Caramel, are bringing new life to the Brighton music scene. The band's sound can be recognised by its explorative and spontaneous nature, inspired by the diverse musicality of acts like Jeff Buckley, Queens of the Stone Age and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Fronted by lead singers, Jamie Broughton and Olly Parkes, Caramel offers a musical experience that is intricate yet wild, mercurial in feeling and angular in its expression. Playing sold out, headline shows in their hometown of Brighton, the band are riding the current wave of new and interesting sounds that the city is exporting. Caramel can be summed up in part by their multidimensional take on music, their androgynous image, and their love for and engagement with visual mediums such as photography and fine art.
