Besides the great Pete Generous on drums and myself on keys and vocals, Carlos G plays the bass and Greg V plays one his Teles on this one.

What's Your Name

I wrote this one a few years back immediately when I heard from Pete G that the great Jimmy Smith had died.I tried to do a sort of "simile" here with the subject being a singer (instead of an organ player), who inspired people with his gift...and then he was gone.  For sure Mr Smith wow-ed and inspired a whole generation or two...or three, and hopefully still does.I was bummed at the time that there was barely a mention of the great "Organ Grinder's" death by the media when we get carpet bombed every time some pop star changes her clothes.The guy was a giant.


Way Gone

An other song with Pete G on drums.  Since his drums have played such an important role in recording my songs, I figured it was appropriate I do a song with his name/website in the title.  There's just a smidge of double entendre in the lyric...OK...well maybe a bit more than a smidge :)
