Muzik4Lizardz 2022

This track started with an ambient recording from my garden which features a strong wind blowing in the trees and a few birds singing. I’ve added some tracks, trying to keep them fairly transparent and simple, as to allow the wind and birds to remain visible. There is gentle compositional development throughout in an attempt to keep the listener’s interest. I see this track as something to relax, perhaps even fall asleep to.

Garden Birds & Wind VI

Has an underlay of a woodland recording I made at Denmark Farms Conservation Centre in West Wales, late February 2022. The birds were active and it was very breezy. I heard a track recently using ambient nature sounds with rhythmic electronic music and was surprised how well it worked. So here we are....

Recently I've been experimenting with 7th, 9th, 13th chords, partly inspired by the Montreal based group "Men I Trust". This tune started on the piano and then was developed on my DAW, Logic Pro. Hope you enjoy listening to it.
