One thing that we have been quite persistent on with Dirtbox Recordings, Is that we want to bring you fresh music constantly and only remix tracks when it is time, And the time IS NOW!

Only our 2nd deep dive into this territory and we are positive this one has been worth the wait.

We selected 2 tracks from one of our OG artists on the label the one and only Traced and his debut with us “The Time Is Now” to get the remix treatment from 2 of our favourite producers from over the years. `Xtronx` hailing from Paris, France. And `Just Breathe` Sunny, Surrey UK.

`Xtronx` has shined brightly in the French Neurofunk DNB scene over the years with his twisted collaboration of Drum & Bass and Metal sounds all topped off with a high octane sprinkling of scenic energy. 
The hard work he has put in has seen the fruits of his labour pay dividends by getting himself signed to `Chateau Bruyant Records` and seen him garner support from the legendary Level Zero and
Zardonic.

And from what he have recently learned this will be the final release under his current Xtronx name but new music on the horizon under a new moniker `Just Breathe` Hailing from Surrey, UK has followed a
much more different path though, building up his CV with not only Drum & Bass but House music too.

Make no mistake about it, Sam (to his friends) Lives and (Just) Breathe’s music, as if he is not putting together the next big rave banger. He is composing music for freelance work and writing for the likes of Movies and TV. Which has given Sam the the skills needed to bring an epic piece of art to any release he puts his hands to.

Without further ado let's dive straight into the music.

Xtronx’s take on this Dirtbox classic takes all the right elements you love from the original and like any great remix ads exactly what is needed to bring it to the present while also encompassing his stamp onto the release.

Epic movie-esque synths bring you into the familiar vocal before a sledgehammer is dropped to bring you huge drums to turn this from a funky Neuro number. Into an all out onslaught on the senses and
a chugging death metal beat before again bringing in the original sounds we all know and love from the original

Just Breathe strolls into his debut for the label with confidence in his production and takes on the Traced banger like he knew all along he would be remixing it.

This one has been going off in sets to the lucky few playing it since last summer and now its finally time to unleash it to the masses.

You want Guitars. Check. You want a roller. Check.

You want to tear out dancefloor drum & bass with the hint of  Neurofunk goodness? Double check.

This remix can do no wrong. It's literally blown up every dancefloor it had the pleasure of hitting, and now The time is now for you to do the same.

Bunkle is proud to announce the release of his new EP, Burden. Bunkle’s EP is an experimental journey through genres halftime, drum and bass and hardcore. The EP features 5 original tracks including a bonus collaboration track with ADDL.

Burden is an exploration of experimental soundscapes, low-end frequencies and a deep dive into the unknown. Bunkle’s signature sound is highlighted throughout the EP, from the opening track, “Burden”, to the closing track, “FKN”. The bonus collaboration track with ADDL pushes the EP further, with a dark and heavy exploration of rhythmic soundscapes and atmospheric textures.

Qui est H.A.X?
On parle d'un activiste de la scène depuis plus de 10 ans. Dj, producteur et régisseur de lumière d'origine guyanaie, il est présent dans tous les domaines du spectacle. Sensibilisé très jeune à la musique par son père, il en fait sa passion et intègre le  conservatoire. Après le lycée, il se forme à la régie lumière et obtient son statut d'intermittent du spectacle. À 17 ans, il fait ses armes dans la scène : il mixe auprès de Kursiva pour une Dub Night, il rejoint le soundsystem Woody Wood Speaker et peu après, il devient l'un des principaux membres de l'association Liquidz Spirit fondé par Treex pendant 5 ans. Après la sortie d'un EP en 2023, l'année 2024 marque un réel tournant dans sa carrière, il fonde son association N3ON, il rejoint le bureau de l'organisation Savage Block Party et fait la tournée des Zéniths en tant que régisseur. Bref, H.A.X, c'est un afficionados confirmé de la musique dans tous ses spectres. Influencé autant par le metal que la musique caribéenne avec un goût prononcé pour la bass music, autant technique que créatif, bienvenue dans l'univers de H.A.X
