After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong.

Release Info: 

The Original mix Worldcup from Kiko was released on 1998. It is one of the 10 favorite Techno tracks from Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills and still is considered a techno anthem. 15 years later we felt the obligation of making an EP full of remixes including a revisited 2013 version from Kiko. We have managed to put together three of the best world's techno artists so they could do their interpretation of this Loveparade's hymn. The 2013 version from Kiko still contains that 90's touch but refreshed with an actual sound. The remix from Jerome Sydenham is using an old school bass kick making it look like from the last decade. On the other hand, we have two very up-to-date remixes from Hollen and Uto Karem. These are four different ways to interpret a track from 1998. We’ve recently spoken at length about how Mutants is developing it’s own musical family. As a label it has, over the past eighteen months, continued to support and develop some of the most exciting artists in the world.

Now the label takes things to the next stage.

Marking a unique first, head honcho John Dahlback (fresh from the debut Mutants Pre-sents… last year) steps to one side to offer the ultimate platform to Scandinavia’s Lunde Bros: a mix compilation.

But hang on!

This is no ordinary compilation. In a move of sublime creativity the brothers have set about providing no less than 6 original tracks and remixes of their own material, which cleverly blurs the line between compilation and artist album. “Opportunities like this don’t come along all that often,” they explain, “So we really wanted to seize the moment and 
provide fans and listeners an element of unique originality. There’s so many tools to 
digitally mix music, not to mention platforms to present or distribute it on, we really felt it 
important we set the album apart from the crowd.”

“I couldn’t think of anyone better to hand the ‘Mutants Presents…’ series over to,” 
furthers label head John Dahlback, “When you invite people to take on a compilation pro-ject you’re involvement kinda ends there; the level of creativity and overall sound is a re-flection of them so you have to step back and let the artist(s) do their thing. In this 
instance just reading the tracklist alone demonstrates how much effort the Lunde Bros put into the project. I couldn’t be prouder of this second instalment. ‘Presents…’ is going to be an ongoing series and the brothers have undoubtedly set the bar very high!”

Just as with John’s debut offering the compilation will come as unmixed (yep, that includes all those exclusives), plus the mixed version itself. Bargainous!

Want It All's bumping house beat takes things out of the lounge and firmly into dancefloor territory, with New Jersey chord stabs and swung garage drums. The sentiment of the track is overall poppy, yet it's undeniably enchanting.
