La band nasce dal desiderio dei fratelli Andrea ed Edoardo De Muro di ripercorrere le tappe dell’avventura musicale di uno dei veri pionieri del Rock Italiano: Ivan Graziani. Ivan inizia la sua carriera negli Anonima Sound per poi continuare come solista dal 1970 fino al 1997, anno della prematura scomparsa. Autore di testi spigolosi e musiche dolci, malinconiche, ma anche dure e cupe, ha spaziato dal rock’n’roll alle ballad, dal folk al pop. I Mr Jekyll ripropongono le canzoni piu significative e conosciute: da “Agnese dolce Agnese” a “Lugano addio”, da “Pigro” a “Il chitarrista”, da “Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde” a “Taglia la testa al gallo” (testo ispirato alla Sardegna essendo stato abruzzese di madre algherese, Ivan fu molto legato ad Alghero). Ai fratelli De Muro, chitarrista e batterista, si unisce il bassista Paolo Irde, attivo in band locali e milanesi, e la cantante Daniela Locci, attiva da vent'anni in locali e piazze, attualmente in band come The Italians do it better e The sardinia police department, che in questo progetto imbraccia anche la chitarra acustica.
