As part of an experiment trying new material for live performances I set my iphone down to record what happened.  Today was Charlie Barlows first day of playing this on bass with me and Dan Noble!  Dusty did an amazing job on this song!  Love it!

Words by Shaz Russell who I challenged to write a song about shadows yesterday and she wrote the lyrics on a 20 minute journey on the number 7 bus.  I came up with the structure and melody last night and just recorded a rough sketch of it now.  Again - I need proper musicians playing on it.  Mentioning no names Dan Noble!!!!!

Having kept my musicality under wraps until 2010, I began by writing and recording songs for friends and doing my own covers of favourite songs, playing the instruments and layering vocals.  In 2011, I met Dan Noble, who I can only describe as a kindred spirit and an extremely talented guitarist.  We started writing compositions together and were soon picked up by #Beanz Rudden an accomplished writer and producer to collaborate on original and 'ironic' iconic cover versions .  With Dan, I have performed at a variety of events as The Larks, and continuing to write for all sorts of reasons (including for corporate use).  I am  looking for opportunities to use my music in as many ways as possible.  I am available for session vocals, backing vocals and spoken word recordings.
