Another Disney song. Yes, I'm a Disney fan. And this one is from one of my favorite ; Pocahontas. I think Judy Kuhn's voice fit the character perfectly, and I like the movie version more than the pop version of the song.
this one is just a little reminder for us to always respect people that are different from who we are. ;-)

From the  1998 direct-to-film version of one the greatest Broadway musicals of all time, "Memory" (vocalized by Elaine Paige),  is sung by the character Grizabella, an outcast Jellicle Cat and one-time glamour cat who is now a shell of her former self. 
The song is a nostalgic remembrance of her glorious past and a declaration of her wishes to start a new life, and is seen by many as lamentation of repentance and desire for forgiveness.
