I wanna give a huge shoutout to all the producers and vocalists that created this music. My process for this book is to reflect my roots in the rave culture. Amen Jungle was my first love and will always have a special place in my heart. I base my musical interests around the amen-break to this day. This particular style was famous in the early to mid 90's but this selection is comprised of tracks made/released within the past 5 years or so. Its an amazing feeling to know people are still making this 30 years later!!!  So to all my Junglist Souljah's out there, THIS ONES FOR YOU!! BOH BOH BOH!!

Book Two : Earth

This mix was a lot of fun to put together. My inspiration for this one came from growing up in Tampa, FL. In the mid-late 90s, breakbeats were everywhere. On the radio, peoples houses/cars and even at the skating rink. I was always fascinated by b-boys and b-girls, and wanted to showcase some sounds that will get anybody up and moving! You'll expect some funk, electro, freestyle etc. in this mix and hope that it will bring back that old skool funky vibe or open you up to the world of BREAKS! 

The artwork is a sketch I whipped up. Graphics and Color was masterfully crafted by my Love and Life partner @og_galxy (Instagram) She keeps my mental light shining lol

COSMIC B-BOY

This Drum & Bass Mix is inspired by thoughts and emotions. The musicality drifts from dark to light throughout and spans different styles in the spectrum of Drum & Bass. Melancholy tones and wistful lyrics depicting yearning, regret, love, possessiveness, and growth carry through this roller coaster of melody and bass. 

I’ve related to this mix so much as it progressed, I hope you do too! Music is definitely therapy and has given me the balance I felt I was missing for so long. As much as darkness consumes the light, radiance will pierce through the shadows.
