Rosalind “Haze” Banks, or Rah-Rah, as closer friends would call her, is a Virginia-bred trailblazer. Most may know her as one of the dopest female indie East coast MCs, having set fire to stages small and large around the entire 757 area code. However, the name “Haze” wasn’t just coined from the venom rhymes she spit. During her youth days, while taking up trumpet in band, she discovered she was also a talented musician. It wouldn’t come as a surprise to her, since Haze’s upbringing was centered on music. She tacked her newfound talent as a musician with her spoken-word poetry and decided this was it; I’m going to kill the game. 
Since then, Haze hit the pavement running. Her hunger to be the best became her motivation. She dropped several mixtapes, including some of her own production, to get her name out of her head and in the streets. It wouldn’t be long before her phone started booming to do local shows for major headliners such as: Young L.A., Jim Jones, Da Brat (one of her biggest idols), Big Kuntry Kane, and Freeway. In addition and aside from her own projects, she has been featured on coast to coast mixtapes.
When asked, what do you wish to obtain on this journey your on? Haze simply replied, “What everyone else wants—to be heard. To revive the rap game with authenticity and meaning.  But most importantly, I want to last, and to give other lovers of the music game the chance to do the same.”
Currently, Haze is on the road to start her own label, with hopes to see not only her own dreams unfold on the big screen, but also artists who share equal drive.
