Guy J's 'Field Trip' rendition of 'Climb to the Sun' by Third Son ft. Haptic | coming soon

Chosen as one of Beatport's best tracks of 2016, Third Son's 'Climb to the Sun' returns for the 2017 summer season with a new interpretation from Guy J.  microcastle has become a comfortable home for the Israeli artist since debuting on the label in 2011. Now returning for his fifth appearance, Guy's highly sought-after 'Climb to the Sun' rendition is finally unveiled. 

A deep friendship and mutual respect has developed over time between the Canadian imprint and Guy, and so impressed was he on first hearing  Haptic’s lyrical contribution to the piece that he asked for the parts to create his own mix, showcasing the Australian’s vocal to suit his own DJ sets. The end result is the ‘Guy J Field Trip Remix’, a magical and intricately crafted ten minute journey that has become a near closing track in his sets for the last eight months.

Guy J’s work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival. Forever drawing influence from contrasting styles, genres and concepts, he has become synonymous with creating innovative, out-of-the-box productions. Adhering precisely to that ethos, his remix of ‘Climb To The Sun’ embraces his ability to craft music that is perfectly suited to a particular point in an evening’s entertainment. The thoughtful, sparse musical intro provides the perfect backdrop to introduce Haptic’s track-defining and highly reflective lyrical contribution. Every small element within the arrangement holds a unique sonic space, crafted to perfection and precisely positioned to create an evolving and deeply emotive storyboard. It is Haptic’s nostalgic vocals that become the focal point as the music ebbs, flows and melts down to a subtle background throb, before breaking into a delicious, hip-swinging percussive section that perfectly builds anticipation for a cosmic finale. In this sense, it is perhaps a faultless creative lesson from one of the scene’s finest innovators, a true master at work.

Influenced by the works of Brian Eno, Philip Glass, John Cage and Steve Reich, Marino has carved his own staple sound in the techno scene through a stream of solid releases. He has released on MOOD, Hommage and KmN and his fans include Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Adriatique Joris Voorn and Pan-Pot, and here makes his debut on the ever reliable Lost & found imprint. Fabric London owner, Keith Reilly, was quoted in an interview saying, "We all live in a world where we have instant access to the worlds most talented DJ's now. But every decade or so you hear someone, and you know there is something else, something very special going on. I feel Marino is that someone". We are treated to three tracks here, so kicking off with ' All The Right Endings'. a beautiful deep building journey, that locks you in to its magical groove. deep and infectious vibes flow, and then the key changing arp line adds an air of sophistication, as we travel along its melodious path. the track ends with an epic, almost orchestral feel as we are treated to a beat-less outro and a half! 'The Midnight Sun' is a Burning man style sexy little number. The simple arp is the backbone here and carries everything along, as spacious reverbs and pads arrive and disappear, all while you're locked under its mysterious spell. 'The Endless Fall' aptly closes this EP and is a deep and fantastical voyage, that effortlessly meanders through a dreamy wash of coolness. Subtle pads and fx add layers of warmth as this track develops. The melodics increase as we reach the breakdown and a treated to a pine tingling 'moment' for the dance floor.

Damien Spencer joins the Pro B Tech Music family with a three-track release called ‘Try’. This EP includes a Martin Gardoqui & Matias Larrosa remix on one side and a Niceshot remix on the other.

The original mix, ‘Try’ comes in on a positive vibe with major tones and chilled vocals that blend with a progressive house musical construction. The first remix goes darker and in a low-tempo beat marked by deep-techy synth leads. Niceshot´s remix is defined by an atmospheric sound that gives body to this dreamy and uplifting track.

Emerging from the rich seam of Polish underground dance talent, Rafa'EL returns to Particles with "Floating Moments". Remixes come from iconic Latvian and Australian artists.

Over a decade spent "developing and polishing his musical sense" has seen Rafael Ligienza carve out a sizeable niche with his Rafa'EL moniker. A renowned DJ showcased via his monthly "Infusion" show on Proton Radio, the Polish artist can boast over a double century of production credits to his name for some of the finest modern imprints including: Afterglow, ICONYC and Balkan Connection. A debut on Particles in August 2015 saw a collaboration with fellow countryman, Tuxedo, before his "Twin Flames" EP hit the stores in June 2018. Returning with a brand-new original track, "Floating Moments" is chock-full of percussive energy and subterranean bass prowess. Developing elegantly, melodic motifs drift subtly in and out of tune, reaching their pinnacle at the stripped back breakdown. Hitting its stride again in the second half, rhythm, bassline and melody combine to mesmerising effect.

Latvian duo, Blood Groove and Kikis, need little introduction to the Particles faithful. Able to point to over 500 production credits across a plethora of high-profile labels, the pair have been regulars on the likes of Spring Tube and Silk Music. Indeed, the latter saw the release of a notable highlight in 2014's "Wonderland" album. Finding their way onto Particles in 2015, Blood Groove and Kikis have showcased their remix skills in abundance, further enhanced with a typically impressive reworking of "Floating Moments". Taking melodic elements from the original, the duo have crafted a swathe of new phrases and additional production material that takes Rafa'EL's work in intriguing new directions. Encased in a crisp rhythmic shell, the remix wax and wanes in effortless fashion building into a sonic extravaganza in the second half that cleverly captures world music flavours.

An artist with renowned DJ credentials that have seen him perform across his native Australia while also bringing some of the dance industry's biggest names to his Queensland home, Rich Curtis continues to operate at the vanguard of the underground. An accomplished musician, Curtis has seen his production work hit the catalogues of such celebrated imprints as Replug, Sudbeat and John 00 Fleming's JOOF. Remixes for Particles have seen Curtis rework the likes of Kobana, Huminal and Matter as he now returns to remix Rafa'EL. Immediately hitting hard with strong beat, off-beat percussive cadence and a rich glissando bassline framework, shimmering melodic motifs that resonate with the "Floating Moments" original pan across the left-right spectrum in dizzying fashion. A swathe of additional production material from the Rich Curtis arsenal makes its presence felt, especially in a wonderfully emotive breakdown, as the second half picks up the pace once more with new sequences and driving rhythmic force.

Anchored in strong remixes from Blood Groove and Kikis and Rich Curtis, Rafa'EL has "Floating Moments" to remember.

الأغنية﻿ الأصلية لمجموعة لرصاد المغربية تعود لسنة ١٩٧٩ و تتحدث بلسان معلم لحظة تعيينه بمداشر نائية بين الجبال يشكو فراق أهله ويودعهم. أما المقطع الذي أضافه المشاهب وديسدنتن "ما لقيتك كيما ظنيتك"، فهو مأخوذ من أغنية أخرى للرصاد تتحدث عن الخيانة في الحب. المقطعان متناغمان من حيث اللحن لكن هناك تناقض في المعنى. 

مجموعتا "المشاهب" و"ديسدنتن" و المصري محمد منير كانوا قد أعادوا "حكمت الاقدار" في وقت كانت لرصاد مجموعة مجهولة وممنوعة من الصرف نظرا لتغييبها عن الإذاعة والتلفزة. نفس المصير لاقته أغاني أخرى مثل "المنادي" و "انت" و "شوف المضيوم" ومقاطع من أغاني أخرى.
