HAZem was known growing up as ‘MAZIKA’ due to his obsession with music and more specifically with electronic music.  HAZem made the decision to start DJing back in 2012 whilst based in DOHA, QATAR.

Following a number of successful DJ sets in Doha at Wahm & Crystal W-Hotel, Sundowners & Glo and the infamous Boat Parties, Hazem moved back to Cairo, Egypt making it his base in 2016.

His identity as a DJ has evolved after attending various music festivals such as SONUS Croatia and Awakenings, where he was inspired by the culture of techno and tech house and by his role models leading DJ/ Producers Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice and Matador to name a few.

HAZem aims to be versatile within his music selection to be one with the surroundings and delivering the right selection for the vibe and crowd at hand.  Music is a medium and a language where he connects with himself and others by expressing and understanding what words fail to do so.
