A lot of people ask me who this is about but when I wrote it, I was wring it just generally about an entire phase of my life and a version of myself that was changing and not going to be the same again. I wrote it a little less than a year ago and thinking of that time in my life makes me sad and at times I miss it because I was happy then but I know good times are coming too. I can't wait for those.

This song was actually inspired by Christina and Owen's relationship on Grey's Anatomy. It reflects two people who love each other greatly but their love actually hurts them more than it nurtures them because they want different things. It's like they are looking and looking for each other so hard but one is looking at the park and the other is looking at the beach; the heart is there, they are just in the wrong place.
