Waiting In The Wing DEMO (FAWM 2022)

There's a huge emotional minefield between being an Irish rover and a sentimental gobshite..... I'm a Dub who left Ireland in the late 'seventies, lived and worked everywhere, and  now living in Vermont. I'm an actor/writer /musician type, a person my father once described as a bit of a loafer, and he wasn't far off the mark.
I've never really stopped thinking about living in Ireland and this year, 2015,  I hope to make it happen. This particular song is  a rag-bag of memories about emigrating. I think most Irish people who've left always feel, at some level, that leaving family is painful.
I've posted about fourteen songs on SoundCloud so far, I'm trying to get my head around O'Carolan on clarinet and  I'll keep writing and playing, too late to stop now etc..,
