Analog Session 009

This weekend we are in Argentina 🇦🇷 with Alberto Blanco. Early on in his childhood, he moved to Mar del Plata were stayed until after his adolescence. His enthusiasm for both modern and electronic music gave way to a rather large and varied collection of discs. At the start of the millennium, his main influences were Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Timo Mass, Danny Howells among other great leaders of the electronic music scene. His interests and path towards his destiny began to define themselves in 2006 which lead him to roots of electronic music when he moved to Ibiza where he began his career as a formal DJ participating in various private events. As 2012 arrives, Alberto started producing with Graziano Raffa and along with Hernan Cattaneo's support of their productions, not only on his radio show "Resident," but also in the largest international clubs, they signed their first EP with Norman H’s distinguished label, Stripped Records (UK). During this time, Alberto meets and begins producing with Matias Vila, they then sign with Sangria Recordings to eventually become finalist of the Remix Contest for "dPen- Vasanizome," which was released by the major label Sound Avenue. They also remixed Granziano Raffa, for the famous label Liquid Grooves, and a remix of Matias Fernandez Vina on Underground Music Records. As we can see, 2012 has been a year full of great success for Alberto and we are sure that 2013 holds great promise with the start of many more exciting projects not only as a DJ and as a producer as well. As he averages adolescence, he fanatically discovers electronic sounds. After listening, dancing and vibrating with the beats of electronic music, he decided to insert himself fully into the universe of the trays back in his very young ages. His passion for music has lead him to start creating his own productions, where he is looking to continue to develop his unique sound. So you can listen his first EP ''Senses'' on his Soundcloud page or on Beatport.

His sound incorporates warm, beautiful melodies, groovy basslines, and more than a touch of class. He seeks to touch the hearts and minds of dancers with improvisations based on their set, setting and atmosphere. Be on the look out for his future releases as they are packed with grooves and uplifting sounds, designed for the dancefloor and more.

On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. There is a happing ending and all that, so the desire to hear her playing more and more is absolute.

Simos Tagias was born and raised in 1982 in the city of Serres, located in the North of Greece. His name has been well connected with high quality electronic dance music since 2012, from Progressive to Tech House and Techno.

He first started getting experience in House music and rhythms in the mid 1990s, a passion for the music that lead him into performing his very first mixes as a DJ in private, underground parties.

His love for Electronic music expanded while working on his very first studio projects in the early 2010s, which quickly attracted the interests of labels like Change Audio, Modu and Lynx Records. This has continued right up to the present day, Simos can now count top class releases on labels like Proton, UV/FSOE, Sudbeat, Clubsonica , Beatfreak Recordings and Movement Recordings. These tracks receive great support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Guy J, Sasha, John Digweed and more!

The last year has seen important gigs starting up in the Greek scene, in the north such as Movement Events @ Block33 (Thessaloniki), and Bloque Festival(Kavala). Here Simos shares the decks with artists from around the world including Guy J, Moshic, Luis Junior, Scotty A, Navar, Estroe and more.

Nowadays, Simos gets busy working on limited and well-focused studio projects, as well as these gigs around the country. There is news and projects to be seen and heard in the near future, so keep an eye on him!
