La carrera de Arnaud se remonta a 1990, cuando comenzó a gestionar tiendas de discos y a construir lo que hoy es un enorme archivo de conocimiento, gusto y dedicación musical a su nombre. Su residencia en el Queen de París y sus memorables actuaciones en todo el mundo perfeccionaron las habilidades de DJ de Arnaud, lo que le dio un lugar en la escena techno mundial, donde continúa siendo hasta el día de hoy una figura destacada. 

Desde 1999, Arnaud produjo diferentes EPs y remezclas para Soma, Edit Select, Children of Tomorrow, Affin, Symbolism, Materia, Cocoon o Suara entre muchos otros. El productor francés ha pasado años cultivando su techno crudo con un sonido hipnótico que muestra sus excepcionales habilidades de producción. Además, junto a Antonio de Angelis forman el dúo Detect Audio, y desde hace cuatro años presenta un programa de radio mensual en Maxximum Radio llamado “Global Techno”. 

Arnaud es uno de los verdaderos veteranos de la escena musical underground de Londres.

A Tribute To Rino Cerrone

Italy born producer and modular synthesist David Castellani is an aficionado in all things modular with a focus on driving, contemporary techno. His sound, fuelled by an array of analog hardware, showcases the intricate aspects of modern music production, while staying true to the fundamentals. 

Having formerly cut his teeth in a DJ/Producer duo, David has already built a category of healthy releases, collaborations and remixes, while sharing the decks with industry heavies including Nastia, Mark Broom, Dense & Pika & Vril, to name a few. 

Now based in LA by way of Chicago, Castellani launched his record label Noetic in 2021, cultivating smart & dynamic techno with a focus on synthesizers and analog hardware. The label has curated eleven releases from Castellani so far, featuring remixes from Redshape, Matrixxman, Voiski & Etapp Kyle. 

Castellani’s journey in music has been marked by two guiding principles – passion and learning, including exploration of world cultures. He uses the didgeridoo, part of ancient First Nation Australian culture which he respectfully acknowledges, in his live sets. He was taught drums by respected Afro Cuban percussionist Juma Santos, who featured on the legendary Miles Davis album ‘Bitches Brew’. The experience of working with Santos has stayed with him till this day. 

“It was one of the most vivid memories of my youth. We just spent hours playing drums together and then we’d indulge in some cannabis while Juma would share stories about hanging out with Miles Davis in the 70's. I was about 17 and remember travelling home, thinking how excited I was to start this new journey in music. And most of all, this helped me understand the value of education via a proper teacher within music.” 

Castellani would go on to be an educator himself, thriving as a teacher at Chicago’s respected Columbia College, where he’d teach for almost a decade. His passion for educating is something that stays with him till this day, involved in running modular synth workshops in LA in collaboration with the RE/FORM crew, with whom he holds a residency. He also volunteers with the Jazz Angels, an outreach program that sees him go into schools and help children record and learn about music. 

His passion and curiosity for all things learning, creativity and technological development has seen him create his own sequencer module, the Precision Disrupter. His background in graphic design also sees a collaboration with clothing brand After Infinite, responsible for designing all their rave wear garments. 

A magnetic live performer, recent highlights include a special 360-degree audio-visual performance in LA alongside Colin Benders and ONYVAA; a coveted spot playing Chicago’s Arc Festival and the release of his collaborative project ‘Hysteria Dichotic’ with AnnMarie Arcuri, which combined techno, contemporary dance, modular synthesis and film. 

Castellani wishes to acknowledge that First Nations Australians are the traditional owners of the didgeridoo, a wind instrument he uses in his live sets. He pays his respects to all First Nations people.

Sandra Mosh has long been a notable influence on Sweden's thriving techno community. Holding a position as a presenter on P3, a national radio station, she has honed her skills as a key crate digger and keen selector. Not only on the airwaves, Sandra lists DJ gigs all around Europe and beyond, to Australia and Asia, alongside artists such as The Advent, Joel Mull, Abdulla Rashim, Grindvik, Maya Jane Coles, and Dominik Eulberg, amongst others. 1981 an eleven year old kid gets a gift, that is the New Life 7 inch by Depeche Mode, from that very moment the cold beats of drum machines and the alien sounds of synthesizers are the soundtrack of his life, until today.Living the eighties as a teenager, he absorbed every futuristic and dark sound as a fan, new wave, goth, proto EBM, classics like Kraftwerk or Tangerine Dream ...1987 marks the switch from being passive to being active, he gets his first synth and drum machine combo as a christmas gift from their parents, a second hand Kawai Sx 240 keyboard and a Korg kpr 77 drum machine, and starts making his own noises and beats from scratch. Soon he formed his first music project, called Ballet Mecánico, with his two fellows Groof and Daniel Erbe.Heavily synth pop influenced in the beginning, their sound soon moves to darker territories after discovering Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb and later moving into proto rave sounds via the Frequencies album by LFO or the Yellow album by Orbital, as well as those lovely Detroit compilations released in the UK by Network records: Bio Rhythm and Retro techno among others. This project last until the mid nineties and left two vinyl releases.1995 is when his solo career as Hd Substance starts, releasing a track on the Electronic Generators compilation, a showcase of spanish techno pioneers at the moment, on Geometrik records, home of the seminal industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico a stepping stone to his debut album Eleven on the also cult label Elefant Records.After more than 30 years in the business, more than 30 Ep’s and six full length albums, Hd Substance is still here as a full actor in the scene, writing, composing, remixing and playing electronic beats all over the globe, as live performer or as traditional beatmatching dj. An entire life devoted to electronic music in any form.
