To All The Girls I'ved Loved Before p4: Better Together (Feels Mix)

---------------PLEASE READ---------------
Exactly a year ago I posted my first mix themed after the movie "Kimi No Na Wa" under the concept of the movie "To All The Boys I've Loved Before". Fast forward a full year and I have made so many friends, and even some of my best friends now. All starting with that mix. That being said I would not be anywhere close to where I am musically, or mentally without the help of a few people. 

THE CONCEPT:
The entire concept of this mix series is to honor not just previous significant others but also to honor the important women in my life that have made me who I am today. That includes my mom, sisters, friends, best friends, and exes (lol). Each mix is dedicated to a specific person and features songs (Usually in the intro) that remind me of them. Each memory I have of them makes me who I am today and this is my way of thanking each women for impacting my life in a big way.

If you take a look at my first mix I use alot of the same songs throughout the mix. But I took the time to revisit many of the first few edits and mashups that I tried and revamped them as well as added all the knowledge that I've gotten throughout this last year to put together this mix. I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you to my mentor Alvin (Alvyn) for literally being one of the most kindhearted genuine people this world has. You have taught me so much and have given me so much wisdom not just about music but also about perspectives on life. 

And thank you to Everett (Louie the 1st) for literally being the first person to push me to greater heights. You were so kind to me without ever meeting me and encouraged me to keep mixing despite my first mix being absolute trash lol.

and thank you to YOU. I know this description is insanely long but if not for my listeners whether you listen to mixes once, twice, or even thirty times, it gives me motivation knowing that someone enjoys listening to my mixes. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Stepped out of my usual comfort zone this time around and wanted to make a mix that was a throwback to 2010 when EDM first made its appearance. I started listening to EDM through progressive house like Galantis and ZEDD so throwing it back and mixing songs from 2019 with songs from 2010 was so much fun. This honestly has been the most fun I've had making a mix thus far.

Throughout the mix I left comments on songs that I have a special connection with and the story behind those songs and why I remember them so well. So hopefully this mix brings back some old memories as well! Enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think!

Trip Down Memory Lane | Decade Mix

Dear  ______, 
I know you like orchestral music and anime so I made this mix as a way to thank you for everything you have done for me. You always listen to orchestral music and nothing else so I tried to mix in a lot of the songs that you know from our childhood cause you live under a rock and don't listen to pop music or EDM anymore lol. You taught me the importance of our catholic faith and I wanted to give homage to that this mix as well as pay homage to you being the first one to truly teach me how to play volleyball. Oh and you also played league of legends with me when I wasn't allowed to play it so there is a league song in there for you. I love you and hope you like this mix.

I went with something really different this mix and kept the beatdrops minimal and went for almost euphoric and motivational vibe. Hope you like it!

Evolution Of Illenium [Trip Down Memory Lane]

Breakups are one of the hardest things to deal with especially when you still love that person but know its for the better good. This is by far the most personal mix I've ever made to date. These last few weeks have been hard on me mentally so I tried to channel all that emotion into this mix and kept it simple with the edits and focus more on the symbolism of the moods and lyrics in each song. This mix symbolizes the roller coaster of emotions after a breakup.

This mix series means so much for me because this is what started my love for making music and being a DJ. Thank you all for your support so far, it means the world to me. 

Fun fact: split the mix as if a male and female are having a conversation throughout the mix. it hits different.
