This 37-minute springtime cleansing meditation includes a guided meditation,where we embark on a journey of renewal and cleansing, exploring the energetic qualities of wind and rain in the context of traditional natural medicine.

As we delve into the essence of springtime with the elements of wind and water, we'll draw upon the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda to deepen our understanding of the seasonal rhythms and their impact on our well-being.

Spring is a time of transformation, symbolized by the emergence of new life and the vibrant energy of growth and expansion. In TCM, it's associated with the Wood element and the Liver organ system, while in Ayurveda, it corresponds to the Kapha dosha, characterized by qualities of heaviness, dampness, and stagnation. As the snow melts and the earth re-awakens, there's an increase in moisture and mud, which can lead to feelings of lethargy and congestion.

Throughout this meditation, we'll explore the energetic influences of wind and rain, contemplating their healing properties and how they can support our journey towards balance and a cleansing renewal. 

The sounds in this audio meditation were captured in Hartlebury, England, at the beginning of April. The sounds were recorded with a 360° ambisonic mic and spatialized with calming Koshi wind chimes and singing bowls to help you on your auditory journey through the elements.
