"This mix takes you through a blend of jungle building up to drum and bass at the end. I start at 145 BPM and gradually build up to 175 BPM because I love blending different styles and creating a journey through the music. Lately, I’ve been really inspired by the roots of jungle, especially the hardcore jungle sound from the early '90s. That’s the vibe I’ve gone for here—raw, energetic, with breaks, 4x4 kicks, high-pitched vocals, and heavy bass lines that just hit. Towards the end, I also bring in some soulful drum and bass, including my own track, “Something About You,” to wrap it all up. Hope you will enjoy the mix!"

The EP opens finding Codename regular NonRev in great form with ‘Tapes’, where gorgeous keys and deep strings entwine with rolling breaks and evocative vocals. This is a great 2024 opener for this talented artist who will be featuring heavily on the label throughout the year.

Arcologies has been an artist we have long been keen to feature on the label, and he moves things into a deeper direction with his debut track ‘Starless Night’, a beautiful deep roller with dreamlike qualities which instantly transport you to another place and realm – destination uncertain.

Another debutant, the talented Data B makes his first appearance with ‘Cocktail’, with deep pads and deep key tones sitting alongside its rumbling bass and rolling breaks.

The EP closes with Fortune & Chance’s ‘Enchant Code’, with haunting guitars and vocals dovetailing with rolling synth basslines, bringing the release and the series to a close beautifully.

Sebastian Wibe returns to Heldeep with drift (burnforyou), his second release on the label after teaming up with R3WIRE on last year’s ‘Main Attraction’ from the Heldeep DJ Tools EP. This time, the Danish producer explores the realm between brawling reese basses, dark analog synths, and uplifting beats, combining it all with a 2000s trance-like vocal to finish it off. The result is a track that blends raw intensity with euphoria, pushing the boundaries of UKG while staying true to his own distinct sound.
