Gaston Zani has been an ever-present figure in the techno fraternity these last few years, be it producing and releasing on his own we(R)aw label, or delivering club heaters for labels such as Carl Cox’s Intec, Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave, and Tronic, to name but a few.

Zani cues up a well-rounded three track EP for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT label, strutting his techno sensibilities on the ‘Something 4 Your Mind’ EP.  

Plenty of old school techno tropes are on offer across the trio of tracks.  ‘Something 4 Your Mind’ is a heady peak time cut, the right side of twisted and keeping it funky, whilst ‘The Way We Like To Raw’ serves up a heavyweight jackin’ rhythm, heavy on the hand claps, and a vocal sample fitting of any Dance Mania or Robert Armani production.  EP finale, ‘Sound Barrier’, shoots from the hip, with pummelling beats and shadowy looping stabs, rounding up an excellent release from Mr. Zani.

Bristolian DJ and producer, edetto, has been immersed in his home city's thriving electronic music scene for the past few years, and comes to the attention of fellow Bristolian, and EI8HT label boss, Eats Everything, who has plucked four tracks from the rising talent to form the ‘Hustler’ EP.

Already with three self-released singles under his belt, edetto presents his drum driven productions for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint, which has been driving intelligent and funky techno releases from the likes of Truncate, Gaston Zani, Black Girl / White Girl, Dave Sinner, as well as releases from the label bosses themselves.

Crisp and rolling techno sounds are stamped all over the ‘Hustler’ EP, each of the four cuts peppered with vocal refrains.  From the propulsive pace and rasping bleeps of the title track, to the swinging jack-trax vibes of ‘Two Toads’, edetto demonstrates his ear for infectious and spirited techno tracks that have him in good stead for a luminous path ahead.

I will always choose for He-Art the music that I want to play for you in my sets, and fits my taste and personality.

He-Art artistic concept and design’ will be led by the Barcelona artist Dsorder, who previously worked for other influential club brands 
such as Cadenza or Monegros Festival. He has created for He-Art an especially organic new concept to make the artworks: 
he applies the physical vibration that follows the music of He-Art coming out of speakers against physical papers and inks, 
without using computer apps, bringing the label-design to a pure, abstract and conceptual art level of work.
