Here is our latest He Sang She Sang original. Composed today by Alma on her new ukulele which she has chosen to name Lulu. (Lulu is male. Don't ask.) Dedicated to her besty, Bronne. Written and recorded in the bathroom-shelter after this evening's tornado --not perfectly as she just wrote the song and has never played a ukulele until today. Some of the recorded words don't match the final text but mistakes are to be expected when one sniffles while recording. 

Again, mistakes abound in lyrics, playing the uke, and singing. But the song is done.

You are the One for Me - by He Sang She Sang

He Sang She Sang, also known as HsSs, is an acoustic rock duo that thrives on musical exploration and live performance. Each having led a musical life before discovering each other, Bronne and Alma have only begun making music together a year after they were married. Their complementing songwriting and arranging styles resulted in a fruitful musical union.

He Sang She Sang specifically writes music for voice and their instruments: the piano, guitar, xylophone, ukulele, fife, and other percussion instruments. Indeed, vocal and instrumental interaction is key to their unique and inventive musical style, and have even included unusual instruments, such as Philippine gongs and jaw's harp, to their arrangements. They also enjoy collaborating with their musician friends, experimenting with instrumentation, texture, and form. They've performed at various venues and festivals all over Atlanta (Red Light Cafe, Smith's Olde Bar, Eddie's Attic, The Red Clay Theater, The Earl, Avondale Towne Cinema, The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, and the High Museum of Atlanta).
