Tasha first made her name as a DJ in the drum & bass community, with her mixes being aired by DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra and Storm making her resident at her Feline night, she became a firm part of the community, going onto play regularly at Renegade Hardware and across Europe. A dedicated head to the core, her exploratory experiences raving at London’s techno nights, being behind the counter, selling records at BM Soho and listening to more techno started to make their way into her sets and radio shows when she started out with her residency on Rinse FM. Radio has been a backbone of Tasha’s approach as a DJ - expressing her appreciation for electronic music over the course of 4 years on Rinse FM followed by a 3 year residency on Radar Radio. 

Tasha’s DJing style matches this textured background of her influences and has developed into a master-flow of form - weaving tunes together seamlessly from her bass informed home of the UK alongside four four techno forms born in Berlin and Detroit. With an accomplished and atmospheric hold on the dancefloor, her sound is wholly affecting and has taken her to some of the best festivals and clubs in key cities around the world from London to Australia, including Tresor, Glastonbury, Bestival and is a regular at fabric and Corsica Studios.

@kessell is the alter ego of Valentin Corujo, half of the Exium duo and Polegroup member, this is his solo project where he explores the most liquid of his sonic palette. Granulart Recordings is his new label, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub, classic Detroit sound and 90´s techno influences, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

Storming the waves of our Rinse show this week is Berlin-via-Brooklyn based Russian expat Mary Yuzovskaya. After grinding her teeth spinning wax in the Russian underground around the turn of the millennium, Mary chose to settle in Brooklyn, quickly making a name for herself as a deadeye, intuitive jockey seeking nothing but perfection in her craft behind the decks. Now hailing from Berlin, out of where she operates her own 2017-born imprint Monday Off, Mary made us the honour to lay down a two-hour vinyl-only scan of her typically hypnotic, depths-plumbing techno wares. A clinically-arranged, droning machines-filled analogue mayhem that sure lacks no grit thru and thru, this one’s designed and implemented to wreak havoc across the systems in good ol’ hard, dubby fashion.
