The Subways announce the release of their self-titled 4th studio album alongside a 42 date european headline tour across 16 countries! Pre-ordering the record now could get you signed albums and access 6 tracks immediately.

Following on from the bands last studio release – „Money And Celebrity“ – in September 2011, the new album is set to be big in sound and energy. KERRANG! have already described it as 'Near-perfect, punk-spirited noise'. A full on rock record with the hooks The Subways have become famous for. The album also marks a new phase for the band. Having previously worked with legendary producers on their first three albums (Stephen Street, Butch Vig and Ian Broudie), lead singer, Billy Lunn has taken on full engineering, production and mixing responsibility for the upcoming album. The album is not over-thought or over produced… just direct and exciting to listen to, capturing the essence of the bands live shows.

The album campaign artwork has been designed in Budapest by artist Zash Ore. The extremely talented graphic designer has drawn a stunning comic art story, in collaboration with the band, to go alongside the album release. 

The new album is to be released on YFE Records/ Cooking Vinyl/ Ferryhouse with a fan pre-order via Pledgemusic, EMP, iTunes & Amazon.

Billy, Charlotte & Josh reach their 4th album firing on all cylinders. Still only in their twenties they have built a hardcore international following. Massive facebook stats and far reaching touring schedules a testament to how far they have come and the amount of work they have put in over the last 10 years.

Having just completed a 23 date UK warm up tour, the band announce a full 42 date UK & European headline tour, across 16 countries, for February/March/April 2015. With even more dates planned to run into summer 2015 festival season.

„Wir ersetzen das Fitness-Studio durch Rock!“ – Das ist der Leitsatz von Head Smashed. Die Schweizer Pop-Punker verbreiten gute Stimmung und Party-Feeling, überall wo sie auftreten. Mit ihren nicht immer ernst gemeinten und witzigen Liedtexten, wird ihr Stil auch als Fun-Punk bezeichnet.

Auf der Bühne setzen sie auf mehrstimmigen Gesang mit einprägsamen Melodien. Dies wurde bereits zu ihrem Markenzeichen: Jeder kann nach dem ersten Refrain gleich mitsingen. Die Genre-typischen hohen Tempi reissen mit und animieren zum mitrocken. So haben schon viele Zuhörer die Konzerte schweissgebadet und mit heiserer Stimme beendet.

Gegründet wurde die Band Ende 2011. Nach einem Jahr im Proberaum erobern sie ab 2013 die Bühnen in der Schweiz und in Österreich. Mit ihrem Debutalbum „Feeding the Animal“ wollen sie sich nun endgültig in der Schweizer Musikszene etablieren. Head Smashed besteht aus drei Mitgliedern: Roman Wilhelm an der E-Gitarre, Moritz Vieli am E-Bass und Patrick Däscher am Schlagzeug.
