Enduro Disco sprinkles more magic onto Exploited, after his last release for the label, ‘CIAO’, smashed its way into the Top 5 Indie Dance Chart on Beatport via its Biesmans Remix Version.
Enduro Disco keeps the heat flowing on Exploited with his latest cut ‘Deep In My Heart’, with a top remix from the prolific Holger Ziske (Playhouse) to boot.
‘Deep In My Heart’ exemplifies his spacious, atmospheric and groovy sound with a deceptively simplicity of ideas that makes more than the sum of its parts. Pleasingly thick claps punctuate a shaker-driven beat as slivers of colourful synth create a flowing conversation of sound. Swirling pads and blurry vocals build a dreamy feel as the plodding bassline ascends and descends the scale with a funky intent. The track is in no hurry to go anywhere, instead cruising along at its own deep, rolling pace. A stripped-back mid-section gives more room to breathe, and little else is needed to make this breezy jam an addictive treat.
Holger Zilske is somewhat of a legend on the Berlin scene thanks to his numerous works and an album he released on the classic house label Playhouse in 2009. His slightly more urgent remix retains the deep vibe of the original but laces it with a dubby feel and more of a taut inflexion in its percussive groove. Doing away with the niceties, it has a real stomp to its groove and makes for a highly effective alternative route.

It's been a number of years since we first tipped Vienna based Brazilian Joyce Muniz for the big time and having enjoyed watching her meteoric rise through the scene, we're now delighted to welcome her back to Data Transmission for the second time this year.

The arrival of her 'Tilt Forward' EP marks the end of a stellar year for Joyce and having already dominated dance floors the world over with top drawer outings for Exploited and 20/20 Vision, she's arguably saved her strongest release for last. JUNO REVIEW: 'This Berlin tech house hero delivered the brilliant Left Handed album last year on his Arms & Legs imprint which he runs with Nils Ohrmann. It now gets remixed and what a tremendous roll call there is on this one, where do we start? Maybe with the undisputed legends that he tapped first, such as Chicago's Paul Johnson who gives "Bones" that distinct kind of boompty bounce that only a Windy City DJ can. Speaking of which, Chi-town legend Robert Armani is back on the scene it seems and gives "Punch' a jacking hard house remix that calls to mind the sound of classic imprints like Relief Records or Dance Mania. Toronto deep house legend Nick Holder also makes a comeback with his remix of "No One Can Change Me" which is exactly the kind of bittersweet and emotive deepness you always remembered him for. Big shouts to UK legends 808 State and Crazy P who deliver some great renditions too.'

Having already amazed us all with his first EP on Sneaky last year, the man from Guatemala (now based in San Francisco) continues to flourish and defining himself as a prodigious producer with his combination of sounds, styles and influences on an EP of high quality deep house. There’s much to admire here, from the low-slung bass lines and tight grooves to some of the deepest atmospheric synth keys and vocal samples, always finding the right nu-school/old-school balance, making every track really pleasant to listen to, as well as a dance floor stomper.

As featured on the House Nation radio show, Housebound Radio, Even Funkier Radio show, the Disco Waltons show, Feel Good Friday on NDC Radio and Diamond Radio.

Hailing from Aberdeen but now living in Edinburgh, Ewan's love of music started from an early age when he started to listen to soul, funk and disco.  In 1993, Ewan started listening to Pete Tong's Essential Selection and Essential Mix shows and his love of house music started.

A pair of belt drive turntables and basic mixer were purchased shortly afterwards and Ewan started DJing at house parties and birthday parties while at University.  The belt drives were upgraded to 1210s which he still owns and Ewan continued to play at local parties, gigs and events. 

30 years on Ewan still likes to collect a broad range of disco and soulful house-music although the tempo has moderated over the years.  He makes regular recordings to share with like-minded music fans and has featured on the Even Funkier radio show, the Disco Waltons show on NDC Radio and Diamond Radio. He references Graeme Park (fellow Aberdeen fan), MAW, Dave Lee, Norman Jay, Dimitri from Paris and Frankie Knuckles as major influencers .

Releasing music we love, from groovy to raw, anything that makes you dance and/or smile: jackin' house, filter house, deep house, acid house, funk, lo-fi house, disco house, jazz house, chicago, slow or even oriental house if we feel to it, all in the game, but leaving the cliché for others. Nodding is fine but HeadAhead is about making you dance.
