“It’s aperitivo hour in Sydney’s secret deco destination. Candle lit, intimate tables sit by the burnished bar to suit the smart casual and effortlessly elegant. The iconic Parlour Cucina set the scene for a 6 month long Friday night residency. Configurations of Foshe and Bentley launched into two sets of pure improvisation, with an open roster of players switching in and out each week. Just enough space to squeeze a trio between tables, laptop balanced precariously on gig bags, a few sessions were recorded. Transport yourself to the bustling crowd of professionals and travelers winding down with a negroni and an antipasto plate, set to the backdrop of scorching polyrhythmic house jams.”
