Head Lynch(Gareth Lynch) is a DJ and producer from Drogheda, Ireland who has been involved in the dance music scene since the mid 90’s. Djing at local parties from the age of 16, Head later went on to study music production and technology. Following university, he has gone on to produce his own music with releases on Krafted Underground, Sneja Recordings, Hands On Records, Full Tec Recordings and Redbox Records while also helping set up KickstreamTV, one of Ireland’s first streaming services for DJs. He maintains a keen interest in advancements in music and DJ technology, an influence which filters through his productions and DJ sets giving them a rich, contemporary sound. Since taking his first steps into production in 2012, Head has gone on to release music which has gained support from artists such as Christian Loffler, Anthony Pappa, Steve Parry and Markus Schultz with his music being played on a variety of radio stations and podcasts worldwide.

Head is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and sound designer in addition to his work in electronic music. Drawing inspiration from urban and natural surroundings, Head is constantly exploring new avenues for realising musical ideas. His productions and DJ sets communicate a developed sound and style influenced by 20 years immersed in dance music. He has witnessed and embraced the evolution of the sound of his early influences(Sasha & Digweed, Timo Maas, The Global Underground Series), which can be heard throughout his music and DJ sets. As co-founder and resident DJ on KickstreamTV, Head is also involved in showcasing the vibrant and diverse electronic music scene in Ireland. Head regularly hosts live streams where he traverses the deeper, darker side of contemporary and classic house and techno music, while also regularly DJing at old-school and new school parties in Ireland.
