A year of discoveries. Thinking back through the last year, there has been a plethora of fantastic labels, and artists that have passed under the Sundays banner. This Sunday and month in general also marks the second year of monthly playlists, and guest mixes. The latter of which is our focus for today as we welcome an incredible producer, Inhmost. From beat to beat-less, his refined approach to crafting ambient mixes provides listeners with auditory tales that flow so well, all while working in a variety of moods and feelings. This mix provides in spades, as such we’re incredibly happy to soundtrack this Sunday morning with Inhmost.

For the last month of 2023 Warmth is back now with his signature ambient music. The first time he created a more deep dubtechno mixtape in the very beginning I started this channel. Now he has grown into a master of creating natural atmosphere in ambient music. With drony landscapes, field recordings and long paths this set is a result of his interest in sculpting calmness and deep listening. So enjoy.

Warmth is the main project of Agustín Mena, also known for his side project SVLBRD, both mainly focused on ambient music with some popular titles like 'Parallel', 'Essay', 'Inland' or 'The Darkest Place'. He also run the labels Archives and Faint.

Good morning, and welcome to the quietest week of the year. Did you have a good holiday? Before I sign off for the year, I think I’ve got one more gem to share with you. Here's a wonderful label showcase and a reflection on this past year from a lovely independent Valencia-based imprint, Archives, curated and operated by Agustín Mena, aka Warmth. I’ve profiled plenty of its releases since its inception in 2015, and I must admit that Warmth’s Parallel (2018) has been on repeat more than others. If anything, it is only rivalled by Glow, which is his collaboration with Fionnlagh, recently released on December 8th, 2023 (you’ll hear a few tracks on this mix). After the red leaf and the gold have gone, 
Brought down by the wind, then by hammering rain 
Bruised and discolored, when October's flame 
Goes blue to guttering in the cusp, this land 
Sinks deeper into silence, darker into shade. 
There is a knowledge in the look of things, 
The old hills hunch before the north wind blows. 

Now I can see certain simplicities 
In the darkening rust and tarnish of the time, 
And say over the certain simplicities, 
The running water and the standing stone, 
The yellow haze of the willow and the black 
Smoke of the elm, the silver, silent light 
Where suddenly, readying toward nightfall, 
The sumac's candelabrum darkly flames. 
And I speak to you now with the land's voice, 
It is the cold, wild land that says to you

Campfire Stories 31 (A Spell Before Winter) by Warmth

Known primarily for his contributions to the underground dub techno scene as Textural Being or aspect., Parallelism is the name of Portland, OR-area artist Sage Taylor's explorations of ambient sound. Fascinated by texture and drone, it is through this alias that he attempts to capture and extend moments of purity and euphoria hiding behind the bustle of traditional song structure. Using primarily collected samples and sounds captured via field recorder he crafts elegant, intimate and warm soundscapes for the listener to dissolve into and become a part of. Works as Parallelism have been released by labels such as Shimmering Moods Records, Moody Drones, Recycled Plastics and Tehnofonika Records.
