Another great back to back session with Malte aka @@caldera-caldera, we always find a way to make things flow effortlessly and for our music to gel into an enjoyable adventure through electronic sounds, I really like his taste in music and his new EP on @nummer is killer - definitely one to check! (I’ll be stocking at Temple of Vinyl).

Voyage de Lux with Alex Downey b2b Caldera - 23.08.2023

A fictional event that took place at the Astoria on Charing Cross Road in London back in the winter months of 1994. Nico, Trace, Ed Rush and the No U-Turn crew in a cloud of smoke on one side of the booth with Pascal, Sponge and the face crew on the other. A banged out Astoria with the lights down low waits as Nico wins the coin toss to step up first - One record each for 60 minutes. The crowd hushes as the needle hits the plate and the crackles on the run in send chills through the building.

That's how it happened in my head anyway :) Mixed on 1210s by myself in the bunker.

Digital Nuttah is a mashup of the classic Jungle tune ‘Original Nuttah’ by Shy FX, blended with the Digital Soundboy remix of Benga’s hit dubstep tune ‘Night’. The combination of these dance floor killers is then given a tribal touch with layered african percussion, making it a heavy duty weapon in any DJs arsenal!
