Our newest release comes from Melbourne-based headstone and Seattle-based Ca$h Bandicoot - a match made in heaven of two heavy-hitting club music producers. Headstone has gone from strength to strength, releasing his debut EP ’No Passouts’ on Shifty Rhythms last year, before following it up with ‘Roll Out feat. Mikey HUNJ’ which has hit the radio waves multiple times on triple j. He recently did a guest mix for our FBi Radio show and released a heaving remix of Javascript. He’s a huge part of the Jersey club music scene in Australia, spearheading its growth. You might remember Ca$h Bandicoot from the club classic ‘Rock Yo’, one of our first label releases which still goes off without fail in the club. 

‘Yacht Club’ begins already building with shakers setting the bouncing rhythm. Breath samples detail the heavy layered percussion which headstone is known for: he’s the master of chopped samples and complex huge kick patterns. He plays with the traditional Jersey club beat to make something even more catchy and crazy - it’s the perfect club-ready beat for the dancefloor, with kicks throbbing straight to your core. The pitch of the vocal drops as the song’s drop goes even deeper and harder, when moving turns to jumping and your knees bend right down to the ground. ‘Yacht Club' is the track we’ve all been waiting for: a unique take on Jersey that cannot fail to get everyone getting low, and the catchy ‘hoes on deck’ vocal sample makes sure you won’t forget it.

Headstone has released with Sidechains earlier this year with 'Yacht Club' which has been supported by huge artists like Alison Wonderland, Diplo and JAUZ. 

Metadata is one half of @metaknightallcaps and the net-label @knightwerk, and is heavily inspired by the Chicago juke and footwork scene where he went to college as well as Jersey and East coast club where he grew up. “Mothership” came to life when the two producers met at SXSW in Austin, Texas earlier this year.
