'Ecce tu pulchra es' was commissioned in 2017 by the Stichting Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek for their 1e Biënnale Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek.

Musically it is inspired by Gregorian and polyphonic traditions, but recomposed into a more personal and contemporary sound.
