A fun little throwback to when I was in an Celt-o-punk band called, "This I'll Defend." We sang this at least a dozen times if not more. :)

An original song I wrote during the summer of 2016. I kept wanting to edit it, but the more I listened to this version, it didn't seem like anything else would sound right. It's deep, it's raw, but I like it.

Flat Satellite

"Reven" means "the fox" in Norwegian. This song is based on a dream I had in my youth about a fox. It is meant to sound similar to a Nordic folk ballad. The idea of time is key.

Lyrics:
Én natt, i drømmene mine, så jeg en rev
Med øyne lyse som stjerner, og dette er hva han sa:

“Følge meg, jente, og ikke vær redd.
Spøkelsene dine kan finne deg ikke her.
I himmelen, danser solen og månen
Til rytmen av livet og tiden.
Kan du se? Følge meg.”

Reiste vi gjennom mørket og lyset, og lærer jeg mye om sannhet.
Endelig kunne jeg se, og aldri skal jeg glemme da reven sa til meg,
