The mast towered into the clouds, stretching high above the ship's sails that rippled lightly in the wind. Their journey had been incredibly smooth since departing; the skies had been blue and the waters calm, almost too calm... They couldn't complain about the ease with which their trip had run so far, but it was difficult not to worry that treacherous waters weren't awaiting them ahead.

Ombra International come correct with their first V/A release of 2021, calling on another batch of like-minded artists to contribute. While several artists make their triumphant return to the label —Freeride Millenium's Jorkes & Nikkname, Silicodisco & Madrid's Rotten City Records boss, Alvaro Cabana, Berlin-based Skelysys and Belgian artist NAUFRAGI— Random Atlas member Ducati Flex makes his debut, ahead of several other tracks this year on Ombra, as does London producer and DJ Birds, whose track pays tribute to the late Andrew Weatherall.

Today we serve you HEARPOD #50 by Neowise! 

Neowise is the duo composed of Julien Cloud and Vaälha, both from the west of France. During the first confinement of 2020, they isolated themselves in the countryside in order to give birth to their project and thus create their first eponymous EP.
The latter was based on the desire to reconcile the music of the golden age of the 80s, with the devastating techno of the underground era of today.
Mixing colorful and retro synths with the power of techno, the duo draws on its multiple influences such as rock or even the soundtracks of SF films to create a melting pot combining past and future.

Moscow's electronic scene heavy weight and quality indicator - Odopt are releasing this insane remix of Belgrade’s awe-inspiring superband TAPAN, real meeting of two dark wizards from the east from the upcoming ‘Ghana’ EP on almighty, never stopping Malka Tuti. The russian duo switched this originally hypnotic slow-techno tune to a mysterious mutating monster, blending buzzing synths and sordid backgrounds with a massive kick drum, creating this unique dark electronica soviet weapon. 
This is third release of Nebojša Bogdanović aka Schwabe and Goran Simonoski since their breathtaking debut album Europa and Tarantella EP and its includes 2 original mixes and a remix from Belgian’s finest duo Front De Cadeaux.
