Ink Project is Brighton-based producer Jez Lloyd’s collaborative project with vocalists Coreysan, FiFi Rong, Yazmyn Hendrix and Melanie Dymond - experimenting with various styles from song-based electronic/soul, future dub, broken beat, leftfield pop, house/techno, down-tempo and world music.

In December 2011, his debut album ‘Inside The Sun’ with remixes from Gang Colours (Brownswood) and Memotone (Black Acre) marked the start of the Blind Colour label. The album featured heavily across the blogosphere and gained radioplay from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Nemone, Don Letts, NME Radio, Red Bull Music Academy and The British Council’s Selector Show.

In August 2012, Ink Project’s unique cover and video of the Blondie classic ‘Rapture’ received over 25,000 Youtube views, before being followed by single’s ‘Keep Passing By’ and ‘Lost At Sea’.

In 2015, ‘Runaway Ritual’ was released, with remixes from Submotion Orchestra’s Ruckspin (Ninja Tune/Counter), Nate Connelly (Blind Colour) and Seahawks (Lo Recordings) before second album ‘Satellite On’ in 2016 - praised by the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Don Letts and Lauren Laverne amongst others.

Ink Project’s third album is scheduled for release in late 2020 and their current live show features an intoxicating, modern mix of live beats, bass, keyboard, fx, dub siren, theremin, DJying alongside various guest vocal appearances.

Since 2012, the collective have gigged across Europe to play at the likes of the Sonar Festival (Barcelona/Spain), the Jazz Refound Festival (Milan/Italy) the One Love Festival (Kent/UK), and landed UK tour support slots with the likes of iBibio Sound Machine (Soundway Records), Sorceress (New Zealand) and the legendary Dreadzone (Virgin/Dubwiser).

When not recording or playing live, Jez runs the Blind Colour label, does occasional sound design for film and & tv and DJs around the world, having supported the likes of Richie Hawtin, Derrick Carter, Joey Beltram and Ben UFO in the past, playing his own brand of ‘alien funk’.

Richard Fearless's fingerprints are permanently engrained on the electronic music scene of the last 25 years. As Black Acid, Dead Elvis, Death In Vegas and under his solo name, Fearless has formed rock bands, written with Liam Gallagher, crossed genres boundaries and been ever present whilst inevitably remaining difficult to categorise.  From headlining festivals to running his Drone label most recently, which has seen some impeccable music from himself and talent he's supporting, Fearless has been, well, Fearless.

As a DJ over the last few decades, we've witnessed Richard carve a niche that operates around new wave, techno, electro and a more industrial, and futuristic-dystopian take on electronic sounds.  He's versatile but retains an edge that's always a little uncomfortable and sinister.  Here we hear him in a slightly more direct mode than we might normally, with a techno mix which aims more squarely at the dancefloor...however, the edge remains!

Another episode of Club Extremities will spawn tonight. Last time I transmitted the two hour set recorded at Dekmantel Selectors in Tisno, Croatia. I was also asked to do a shorter set on the Intergalactic FM boat party on which I shared the booth with Identified Patient, Pasiphae and Intergalactic Gary. I thoroughly prepared a highly eclectic uptempo set filled with postpunk/techno/electro/acidtekno especially for this occasion but unfortunately the crowd was jumping too hard for the record players to hold a groove and I ended up playing each record seperately since mixing was impossible. The crowd didn't mind though and I had a lot of fun despite (or because of) the chaos erupting there and I thought this selection needed a proper recording so I went ahead and re-recorded the whole thing.
