#COMMUNITY : My Favourite 23 of 2023 So Far

I recorded a partial demo on my iphone of this one with chord structure, melody with partial lyrics. I gave it to Morry. He took it and created all the instrumentation, added a bridge etc. Then he bounced it back to me to lay down the vocals. We both have Tascam DP24s now so we can exchange the memory cards to work on songs individually and then eventually get back together to finish things up. It is always a fun process and interesting how different songs come about. Hope you enjoy this one. All the best to our SC friends.

"This song was inspired by the global crisis of 2022. The title came about as I wanted to write a Rock track that would blow the speakers and wake everybody up then lyrically it became a kind of social commentary and a call for world leaders to make positive change meanwhile everybody is doing the very best they can in their situation and living in hope”.

The original recording received a lot of listens and feedback, but it was not a quality recording. The idea was there. I just did my best to salvage what was recorded and remix it into this one mix.
