The intention of this song is to provide help for those who are struggling to find peace. I personally have found my peace in God and I wanted to share that through song. “Just breathe” is intended for the listener to return to the basics when things become overwhelming that deep breath exercises actually reset the nervous system also just breathing is just being, there is no doing. It’s just being loved by God and being alive. My process for creating this song began with a melody. The melody on piano kind of evokes this worrying emotion and it was just cool to use that as the theme and then sing reassurance over the worrying melody, by using Hollywood strings that kind of redeem worrying with the sound of help and aid, the sound the strings give off. The lyrics came as I sang along to the melody, simple but effective, I believe. I used “everything will be okay” multiple times repeating because when I hear that phrase my heart instantly calms, it is a very helpful phrase to hear when in distress. The other lyrics came through just my relationship with God and how I have experienced Him coming through for me during my chaos. The harmonies came together and then I wanted to add another instrument vfor the final chorus and I wanted to add something bass-y so you’ll hear that as well. I implemented a lot of looping and harmonies as well as repetition and rhythm to help keep upbeat and hopeful. Hope y’all like it!

This is a lullaby for those who’s minds are having a hard time shutting down for the night, worries, struggles, anxieties rob you of your rest but He is the Good Shepherd who gives us rest. Peace be still came to my heart while singing this melody and I hope it blesses your rest

Jingle/mantra for a school project but it is what I tell myself when life gets overwhelming, He is my strength. My solid rock on which I stand. My God is in control. I chose to start with His heartbeat before all creation, there was God. Then he created. Life started from His heartbeat. Then we add in the song of the birds and the reverent chords because He is Holy.

Okay so I can't play piano well, i'm just playing chords and i was singing with terrible cat allergies but this is a song I wrote using the phrase "starve the fire" for a songwriting game I'm in. Masterpiece

a song for those who struggle with sleeping. Taken from Zechariah 3:17 I really liked the rejoices with singing, but also calms my fears. Its also a mix of Psalm 23 as well.

My song piece is called “The Dance.” This piece is based on an image of dancing with the King. Dancing with Jesus. Life is like a dance, you learn where and when to step, you learn the art of His love by taking action and allowing Him to guide your steps as you follow His example. It’s not always going to be perfect, there will be missed steps and painful moments but there is so much beauty in learning and becoming more intimate and passionate for Him in it.
	In the first part of this song, if you can picture the invitation to dance. Like when Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts. Once the invitation is accepted, there is an observation and then the dancer follows the example of the King. The dancer begins to understand the rhythm of His will in the repetition of the progression. With added bells, it allows you to picture a wedding and the harmonious moments of being close with Him. 
	Then the spinning bells are added to bring on a sense of trouble coming. Life is not always going to be harmonious and well. In the drop into minor chords, the dancer becomes distracted with other dancers named temptation and struggle. The dancer begins to lose motivation and feels helpless. There is a sense of this cry for reconciliation deep down. In the change to major chords, the King has heard the cry of the dancer’s heart and the dancer is brought back into His arms. 
	In the key change, the dance is even more passionate and intimate. There is this bond and reconciliation in the embrace and this deeper understanding of His love acquired in all the steps taken. It’s like that final dance in the last scene of Beauty in the Beast, if you will. In this world, we will become distracted over and over, I hate that wandering heart. This is like what Heaven will always be like. This final dance.

The Dance

Hallelujah to our God is simple but the melody to sing it is a bit tricky to follow. Regardless, I can hear different langauges singing this. This is a snippet of the worship song I am currently working on. I LOVE key mods and would love to launch this into a never ending chorus at the end with bells conveying the end wedding where Bride and Bride groom will be one and we will join in with the Heavenly hosts singing. I hear it like this :)
