Opening with a looping backwards guitar intro, it then bounds along via sumptuous vocals, tumbling guitar lines and 
at least 1 false ending, towards a soaring, triumphant conclusion. 
 
Restraint repeatedly turns to release, and back again. 
 
Produced by Iain Lowery (Lost Levels) and featuring Will Bloomfield (Port Isla).

Born in the West Midlands, exiled to East Anglia. 
A lapsed duo, now joined by a interchangeable line-up of guest musicians and silent partners. 
HOAD create an often tangible soundscape, characterised by a potent fusion of percussive, compelling rhythms that nurture tender melodies. 
Thoughtfully unaffected lyrics and rich harmonies yield a sound that manages to be both soulful and distinctively 
authentic. 
Following the release of their second EP on Bare Feet Records, Heart of a Dog embarked on a UK tour, including a support slot with experimental Welsh art-rockers Islet, a live session with New York station Breakthru Radio and a storming set at the John Peel Festival of New Music.
