last year i was having visions of rivers in sunlight. i followed the river and above me were hanging shadow trees. when i reached up to touch them their long leaves turned to a shimmering red. i followed the river and drifted away with the words "thank you, goodbye" illuminated in front of my eyes. closeness can guide separations sometimes i guess.
