The North Sea are a Dublin based alt/rock band influenced by Irish alternative acts such as Whipping Boy, A House and Into Paradise. Since the release of their debut EP in 2012, the quintet have been busy crafting their sound and steadily gathering a large following.

They recently released their debut single 'In Love' on ITunes and 7” vinyl , which was named track of the fortnight in Hotpress magazine, receive's regular radio play and garnished great review’s from blogs like The Thin Air,  The Last Mixed Tape, The Point of everything and  State.ie to name a few.

Their yet un-named debut album is due for release next Spring. Recorded live to tape in order to capture their live sound, it was produced by Grammy Award winning Irish producer David Odlum at Black Box Studios in France.

Everybody Knows

Drinking alone is the second single to be released from The North Sea's soon to be released debut album. The song explores themes of alienation and separation between a couple, realising there love has waned or changed. It's about escape and times of thought and reflection.The song will be released on iTunes on the 27th of February,  with a video to accompany it in earlier in that month.
