Ode to Marrickville - The Wireless

A Sibelius recording of my composition "Magpie Mayhem" for Training Band (around Grade 0.5). It uses the first 6 notes of the Concert Bb Major Scale (with an optional high Bb at the end). It also introduces a simple quaver pattern.

Magpie Mayhem - Heather Prowse

Improvisation using trumpet and electronics for the Sydney Fringe Festival event, 'Creative Conversations'.

Selected artists were invited to create new works based on the theme of 'Land: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow' for presentation at Annandale Creative Arts Centre on September 20 & 21, 2019. I chose to create this piece as a reflection on a place I spent time in during my childhood; the Browns Waterhole Track in Lane Cove National Park; on Darug land.

This work was performed on the land of the Gadigal of the Eora nation.
