Berlin based producer and dj Stephan Pietack aka MoodFreak continues to go from strength to strength with his productions and delivers yet another club stomper in the form of Middle Class, a sublime progressive outing which blends gnarly basslines and techy stabs with atmospheric drones and emotive synth hooks.

For the remix of Middle Class we're happy to welcome utterly talented Riccardo LeBron aka Anakim to YOMO. Mentioned by DJMag as an "Artist to Watch" in 2019 he has delivered on his praises with releases and remixes on Desert Hearts Black, EIN2 and Mango Alley. Showcasing his outstanding production skills Riccardo preserves the main elements of the original while adding a more progressive touch with an irrestistibly bouncy bassline, pitch warping synths and driving percussion.

MoodFreak - Middle Class

We welcome London based producer Zy Khan making his debut on Uxoa Dutxa Elite with a formidable four track EP geared towards melodic techno.

Heaven begins with a kickdrum and a bassline with progressive style while melodic riffs enter the scene giving it an ethereal touch quickly reaching the break with new fine synth melodies that transport you to the same paradise.

Followed by Who We Are that begins with a dreamy pad as an intro raising its filters to give input to a powerful kickdrum that maintains the same progressive style, reaching a first break where mysterious atmospheres appear predominating an arpeggiated sequence that develops with its filter automations creating an excellent shade of darkness.

Trumphant begins with a catchy bass sequence that is soon accompanied by a robust kickdrum between dynamic hats reaching a break where a spectral voice appears giving it a greater sense of energy with the arpeggiated sequence making it hypnotizing and very striking but at the same time glorious.

Contagion ends this exceptional release by Zy Khan with an arpeggiated sequence and an accompanying pad that joins a clean and versatile drums between dark atmospheres in the background that develop a very elegant melody that in the course of its movement modifies its synthesis with different synth filters.

After our summer headline EP "Otherside" from Soulmade (AR) and Rockka we are releasing a remix edition of this EP. "Other Side" EP was released in June 2021 and it had great feedback and support from other DJs, producers, and podcast creators, and now we invited three talented producers to join us and to make their version of these two songs.

Graviton, Nightnews, and PASINDU are our regular producers and they made three different kinds of sounds here. We must say we love each of these songs. Electronic dance music and progressive house, with elements of the dark melodic house, is exactly what you will hear in these three songs.

Graviton is DJ and producer from Russia, releasing music for labels such are Massive Harmony Records, Future Avenue, and our Big Bels Records. His EP "Serving The Shadows" was released in June 2021 on our label. Graviton style is a deep, dark, and very melodic progressive house so these elements can be heard in his remix of Stranger Days.

Nightnews is also back to our label with another remix duty. In May 2021 he made a remix of Smart Wave's song "Clipocire". His remix of Stranger Days brings a warm techy sound, perfect for the opening of a set or for a warm-up DJ mix.

PASINDU from Sri Lanka is a super talented producer with good expressions in progressive house music. His remix of Other Side brings a warm progressive drive that could fire up any DJ set. A true progressive house drive is floating through the whole song. PASINDU also had one very energetic EP on our label. His Out of Control EP was released in September 2021.

As the year winds to a close, Deersky’s Soundteller Records presents volume seventeen of it’s popular Vibrant Vibeland series. 2021 proved to be the most prolific year to date for the long-running series, notching five editions, beginning with Volume 13 in January. Although primarily a landing spot for new talent, some longer running artists such as Neftali Blasko, Pablo German, Soulmade (AR) and more have also called the series home in more recent years. Now embarking on the seventeenth installment, Soundteller readies fifteen fresh cuts to satisfy your progressive appetite, beginning with the spacious, arp-driven ‘Disconnected Soul’ from up and coming Saudi Arabian artist MindWhere. Although the focus is predominantly progressive house, Danyel Irsina’s ‘Live as On’ presents a deeper, organic quality to shift the narrative during the collection’s first half, while ‘Escape’ from Around Us concludes the release with a distinct lean to melodic house and techno territory. Other standouts include Soulmade’s euphoric ‘Parallel’, Adrian Font’s heartfelt ‘The Magician’ and Dysco & VegaZ SL’s mystical groover ‘Isla’s Ritual’. All in all it’s another outstanding selection of music from Soundteller Records who will no doubt continue to build on the series’ legacy across 2022.
