We are really happy to show you our New Year’s Special by Tel Aviv based Live Act, DJ and Producer Ran Salman!
His music is Influenced by a broad range of electronic music genres from 
house, deep house and techno to disco, he created his very own style. 
Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country, 
he is expressing his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and even his own voice.
He’s released under Steyoyoke / Steyoyoke Black label, 
Click Records Amsterdam, Einmusika / EIN2, Definition: Music and in 2017 he joined Nick Warren’s imprint 
‘The Soundgarden’ with his forthcoming EP ‘Nights of Tel Aviv’, currenlty Ran is performing live acts and DJ sets around the world.

Interview

How and when did you get into electronic music? 
I was about 14 years old when I first entered a night club and instantly felt involve with the music and vibes and decided to learn how to DJ and produce my own music.

Which musical moments have been especially memorable to you? 
My early club days (as a clubber) are always a strong memory and a big inspiration for me,
but I also have special moments that I take with me when I perform at different places.

Which plans do you have for the future?
I have some wicked unreleased stuff waiting to be released this year, also working on my new live show, and have plans to start my own label..  stay tuned ;-)

If you could choose to play at any venue in the world, which place would it be?
I really like outdoor venues and Red Rocks Amphitheatre looks amazing for a live show!

After many years of success Jim decided to move a step forward and started the musical production company, Heavy Pins, producing his own music, releasing his own sounds, original tracks and remixes of famous artists. During this period he was significant in developing the Nu-Disco, G House style. He signed his music in TOOLROOM Records one of the biggest record Labels in the world, as well as Bunny Tiger, LouLou, Sleazy G, Sleazy Deep, King Street, Spirit Soul Records, Go Deeva etc. Most of his releases hit the top 100 Beatport Charts all over the world and are played by big artists worldwide. Jim has also collaborated with a lot of famous producers such as Sharam Jey, Kolombo, Saccao, Daniel Fernandes, Thee Cool Cats, Haze-M etc. Last but not least he has worked with famous Nu-Disco, Deep House singers such as Lostcause, Terry Shand etc.

When not performing, He spends his time in the studio creating his own music. Jim has had a a lot of time to develop his sounds. For him, Its all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove…playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it regardless of genre, style, or release date. Don't be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing...
