Featuring lyrics performed by Tamara and ghost-written by Redlocz, the track draws inspiration from Damian Marley’s iconic “Welcome to Jamrock,” which famously sampled Ini Kamoze. Taking that concept, Redlocz flips it with a hometown twist—“Welcome to Hull Town,” representing Kingston Upon Hull.

And that connection matters:
Hull may not be Kingston, Jamaica, but Kingston Upon Hull shares that distinctive name link, making the reimagining feel natural, clever, and rooted in place. Redlocz uses that coincidence as creative fuel, turning it into a powerful anthem for his own city.
