My War

A selection and soundtrack from a Journey for Alex and the Girls, mixed on return from a long road trip across several countries, with one ultimate destination: the Mentawai Islands, far away from everything. Far from the crew and friends, the I-55 projects, next radio show with Steve, and the planned US tour with Chris. A place where everything is different: the timeline, the colors, the beat. A huge source of musical inspiration, an opportunity to leave the influence of underground and the usual tempo for a trip into downtempo, electro, ambient, pop, and soul. A set full of colors and lights, celebrating the beauty of the Mentawai Islands.

This session is also a tribute to our legend @eddiec and the “Best Friends” series, one of the best radio shows on SoundCloud. So, two amazing tracks and two sample acapellas to thank you!
