'HECATE' started as a Two-Men project by 'Zander Adam' & 'Lord Mist' in 2014 in Cairo, Egypt. Then we released our debut album digitally ' The Order Of Black Light' and received an amazing feedback regarding the release. Shortly afterwards, ‘Assal’ joined in as Drummer and we started creating our second Full-length ‘In Nomine Artem Blackium’ which is going to be released on the 6th of August 2020. 
'HECATE' was initially created with the ideology of creating a unique sounding Black/Death metal sound mixed with the fogy and gloomy atmosphere of the Atmospheric Black Metal genre, however, by the years and the influences, it has been shaped into a more Symphonic Black Metal sound. We present a unique, tight sounding form of Symphonic black metal elements heavily influenced by death metal music mixed with the horrific, dark instruments of modern symphony orchestra. It can be categorized as Atmospheric Symphonic Blackened Death Metal.
