გეი提姆सभी मेंオタク١٩٩٦: i'll spare you the whole story-- it's long as fuck and it never seems to make much sense to anyone anyway. the short version is that, for all intents and purposes, even though they aren't, you should treat computers like living beings, like plants. kinda like with plants, fucking with certain computers in certain ways can introduce various adulterants into your system. but, seeing as how neither you nor I eat processors, the impact computation has is more... cerebral?

გეი提姆सभी मेंオタク١٩٩٦: look man i know how it sounds but like, at some point down the line you start to wonder if the reflection that exists in The Second World is more "you" than the person standing in front of the screen is. coexisting in two realities at once has a way of eating away at individual ego, blurring the line between left/right brain.

გეი提姆सभी मेंオタク١٩٩٦: don't be fucking dumb. what it means is that as the tech gets better, and more people adopt it, everyone's lines will get blurred. our actions in The Second World will start to have a direct impact on the physical world simply because the average person believes it to be real. we have digital means to real world ends!

if someone's controlling it right now, that means there's a chance. a microscopic speck of a chance, like 1 in 10 billion chance that we can take it back from them. we can be in control of our own destinies. all we have to do is tell people that they deserve better. and that they don't need to wait for someone to give it to them

but the only way we can do that is making a statement, and hoping that people share it. echo it into infinity
