Straight from the bustling scene of Brussels comes Nous'klaer Audio's latest signing: an effervescent debut album by the young Belgian-Japanese producer, live-performer, pianist and DJ Gaiko.

Gaiko (real name Kaito) bursts onto the scene with a nine-track full-length album that highlights the rich and diverse output of this emerging talent. His first offering spans left-field electronics, IDM and DnB, blending intricate drum-programming with lush synths and contemporary, contrasting piano pieces. The long player has been shaped into a push-and-pull dynamic of tempo and mood, a flow of quests that gradually grow into their entirety. From atmospheric textures to tight, propulsive beats, Gaiko builds layers that ripple into each subsequent track.

This contrasting yet complementary energy flows from the tender "Millennium" into the unassuming highs of "Setagaya," while the floating electronica of IDM-leaning tracks "Subdued" and "Ever's Lullaby" build up to standout tracks "Martyr" and "Crush." Gaiko's self-titled debut balances euphoria with introspection through an unusually sophisticated playfulness, a rare quality that makes this vivid young artist all the more promising.

The 180g vinyl comes in a heavyweight sleeve with artwork by Loe Duval (aka Barwouf) and includes a download card.

Copenhagen-based shapeshifter Hasfeldt steps into the limelight with his debut album 'If You Ever Need Me', landing on the freshly minted Danish imprint Real Live. As a fitting prelude to this avant-garde statement, 'Rest Of My Life' unfolds as a limb-twisting marathon, directed by Danish visual artist Julie Koldby and contemporary art collective pro tempore...On screen, 'Rest Of My Life' deconstructs the traditional dance video format, dismantling daily training routines piece by piece and reconfiguring them into a dizzying mirage of athletic delirium and post-rave solitude. A rotating vortex of kinetic euphoria and bodily depletion, the video lures its audience into a state of trance, somewhere between digital dissociation and muscle memory collapse. The result is pure visual hypnosis, dance as a glitch in the system.
