Selective Response's biography dubs him a "Sonic-Chameleon," a bold assertion that he continually validates not only across multiple releases but also within this very EP. Each track feels like a custom creation tailored for a specific DJ style, unified by his signature high-energy, razor-sharp production aesthetics. If you need a linear, rolling track that continuously evolves, you're covered with "Carbon Copy." Menacing vibes with distorted acid lines? "Ambush" it is. "Street Justice" sounds like an autonomous boombox from another universe and evokes gritty, urban imagery, while "Abscess" brings a more experimental edge to the EP, even carrying breakcore hints.

We welcome back Michelle Sparks for another EP on Tronic. This time Michelle delivered two hypnotic, minimal groovers that are made for dark warehouse raves! We recruited Chicago Loop for remix duties. His version of Mindweave adds an immersive synth sequence and a groove that reminds us of the late 90s. Great Package!

Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

Schacke transmits a 4 track EP of erotically charged techno, pulsing with soundscapes & textures that evoke at once both the interior of the body and the inner workings of the universe’s hive-mind, vocal samples haze into orgy, sweeping walls of noise are punctuated by trance-influenced melodies, buoyed by a rhythm track that is as playful as it is relentless.

Schacke has been a pivotal figure for the current Copenhagen techno scene, having run the Moral Defeat label from the underground hub that is Mayhem, his roots in punk and noise music define an energy and intrigue to his production that is singular.
