Emerging from the late 00's nu-folk scene, Hector's Fanclub evolved from afro-beat 'popsters' to accomplished folk rockers with incredible speed. Having struck a chord with the London folk scene for their quirky, off kilter sound, they soon caught the attention of the BBC who began airing their early demos. Their debut self-titled E.P, recorded and produced by Andy Knightley (Bell X1/Sinead O'Connor), will be released in late October 2011 and showcases a precocious array of original material. Their eclectic mix of influences has resulted in a unique and energetic live sound which has made their shows 'not to miss' events. Expect to hear a lot more about this group in the coming months, and years.
