Walt Disney Best Soundtracks

I've made a film version of the scene from Disney's 1998 film: "Mulan". This music plays in the scene after Mulan argues with Fa Zhou at dinner and runs outside crying into a thunderstorm.

At the start of the scene, Mulan makes her decision while sitting on the Great Stone Dragon statue (making her choice by observing her mother and father by their silhouettes in the window).

We also get a brief effective shot of Mulan looking at her reflection in the little puddle of water in between the stones of the pathway. The storms around Mulan acts a mirror to her current emotional state in the film. Also, when Fa Zhou blows out the candle, you can see the look of determination in Mulan's eyes and getting ready to spring into action.

Plus, the sound of the rain becomes less audible, but the thunder is more prominent. After Mulan makes the decision at the Great Stone Dragon, she walks up to the Fa Family temple, and we only see her feet as the music starts.

First, she lights a stick of incense (with VSSHH sound effect, it's audible on international releases) and places it in the incense holder, then she prays to her ancestors (while being observed by her lucky cricket: Cri-Kee, in which she released him during the song "Reflection"). You can also hear the 'clang!' of the incense burner, which adds to the atmosphere as it makes her actions seem more real. In addition to that, when Mulan is praying to her ancestors in the Fa Family temple, she wants her emotional downpour to stop.

Next, she silently goes to her parent's room and takes the conscription notice from her father and replacing it with her hair comb by the bedpost.

After that, she cuts her hair with her father's sword and puts on her father's armor to join the army. Once again, the addition of sounds such as the scrape of Mulan's sword against its sheath and the swish of billowing curtains add realism to the scene. Also, when Mulan cuts her hair, both the thunder sound and sword sound go off at the same time, reinforcing the brevity of Mulan's choice and her determination to stick to it.

Lastly, Mulan goes to the stables and mounts her horse Khan (Khan neighs in fright about the stranger, eventually Mulan calms him down) before riding off to the army. The final note is synced in time with Mulan's "Yeah" (along with the sound of the door bursting open and her horse neighing).

Realizing that Mulan is gone, Grandma Fa prays the ancestors to protect Mulan.

During this scene, there are dragon emblems everywhere (on the sword, on the walls and on the wardrobe).

Note: It contains sound effects that enhances the track, but it's good. You are about to experience some epic stuff that makes you feel very strong.
