We at Samaa Records are delighted to invite you to celebrate with us the birth of NightBirds, the new project of Archaic aka Avaris.

Nocturnal Owl Symphony is a three-track release, carefully crafted during this winter. What makes this music unique are the sounds of birds and especially the Owls, who are the primary source of inspiration.

The title tune Nocturnal owl symphony is composed of 100% Natural Owl sounds. Such voices and songs, screams, and otherworldly laughs are woven with the synth world and stimulate an exceptional sound-color effect with resonating atmospheres and deep grooves, undertaking the whole orchestration and creating a unique forest story!
Owls are known for their divination and hunting abilities, and wisdom. And they form great archetypes in many cultures and traditions. They love the night and prefer to hide from other animals and humans. All these have sparked people's imagination, resulting in a mysterious grid behind their existence.

The other track Space Falcons is inspired by another magnificent bird known for its freedom-loving spirit and power. The blend of the sound design with the voices of Falcons invents a profound and liberating sky journey.

And the final track, ResisTrance, is a special tune from Avaris which intertwines all the music together, giving the omen of Freedom and Ecstasy.

In all ancient traditions, Birds have a prominent place. Birds can give us a lesson of Freedom, Clarity, and Togetherness, and with the eyes of the Owl, we can have a penetrating view of our current reality above the fear and the illusions. They are the oracles!

Apsaalel is a Swiss dj living in Geneva area.

His dedication to electronic music started in the late 90’s with the rave movement.
The love for the psychedelic scene was born at that time, thanks to the Psyberpunk parties in Switzerland and several collective such as Mantra Tribe System, Biolive, and other friends.

He bought his first MKII and sound system with his first salaries at the age of 16.
From techno to trance, progressive and then psytrance, he traveled through different music genres.

Apsaalel project started in 2023 with the willingness to share his love for the psy scene across borders.
From vinyls to digital, the project was born.

Focused on forest and dark, his dj sets are composed in a way to create fairytales and bring audience into deep organic sounds and forest atmosphere.

Fomenth had a musical background in music at very young age by playing the drums at different kind of projects. His first contact with electronic music was in 2000 where he also started attending to many parties.

After a few years he discovered psychedelic music where he started playing at local parties meanwhile experimenting with different sounds. Soon enough though, the skills he had gained in mixing, gradually created the need of producing his own music, always open to new musical experiences.

During time, his sounds and productions became more like experimental influenced by many kinds of music with the addition of dark elements supported by inner feelings and experiences around him.

The sound-engineering course he successfully undertook helped him to develop his production and mastering skills.

And the journey seeking to broaden musical horizons still continues…
